About 40 Points
40 Points is a place to play Sheng Ji (升级) online. Open a table, send the link, and everyone takes a seat.
It goes by other names. Tractor, or 拖拉机, for the run of pairs that wins tricks. 80 分 and 大百分, for the points on the table. Different regions, same game: only 5s, 10s and Kings score, trump is a fifth suit, and you play to level up. If none of that rings a bell, the rules start from the beginning.
What you can play
- Classic and 找朋友. Classic, with your partner opposite you. 找朋友, where the dealer calls friend cards and the teams come out as the hand is played. How that works.
- Four to eight players. The deck follows the seats: one at four, two at five or six, three at seven or eight. Or set it yourself, up to four decks.
- The full game. Pairs, tractors and throws, kitty bonus on the last trick, levels from 2 up past Ace.
- Bots for any seat you can't fill. Four difficulties, easy to insane, named after generals from Chinese history.
How it works
Nothing to install and no account. A table is a link, and it remembers who was sitting where — close the tab and your seat is still there when you come back. It runs in any browser, on a phone or a laptop, in English or Chinese.
